Working together to clean our St. Croix River

In 2013, 94 volunteers worked together to clean up 29 miles of the St. Croix River, collecting 730 pounds of garbage. Would you like to help clean up the river in 2014? Listed below are several organized clean-ups. Fill out the form to volunteer for one of the clean-ups. Your information will be sent to the team lead for that specific clean-up.

 


 

4th Annual St. Croix River Clean-up in Wild River State Park

Clean-up of the St. Croix River between the Sunrise Landing and the main boat landing within the park. Opportunities to help on water in canoes or at landings. Please contact Bob Kessen for more information about how you can help or if you have any questions. Sponsored by Friends of Wild River State Park.

Clean-up Lead: Bob Kessen

When: Saturday, July 12 at 9:00AM at main boat landing within the Wild River State Park for shuttle to the Sunrise landing; or 10:00AM at Sunrise landing if you have your own shuttle service arranged when we get to the main landing around 2 – 3:00PM.

River Rally: St. Croix River Clean Up

RiverRallyLogoVolunteer at the River Rally to support the preservation, protection, and appreciation of the St. Croix River. Volunteers should be 14 years of age and older.

When: Tuesday, July 15

  • choose from start times at 4:30, 5:00, or 5:30 p.m.
  • volunteer picnic afterwards with food and games at the Boom Site Scenic Overlook
  • sign up as individual or with a group
